$100K Business Line of Credit: What It Takes to Qualify and What It Costs

A $100,000 business line of credit is the point where online lenders start asking for more than three months of statements and banks start getting interested. It is a realistic limit for a business depositing $50,000 to $100,000 a month, and the cost difference between getting it from a bank, an online lender or a secured facility is thousands of dollars a year. This guide covers who qualifies for a $100K line in October 2026, what it costs with Prime at 7.00%, and the fastest route by profile.

How Do You Qualify for a $100,000 Business Line of Credit?

Online lenders size unsecured lines at roughly one to two times monthly deposits, so a $100,000 limit usually means $50,000 to $100,000 a month in deposits, twelve or more months in business, 650+ personal credit and no stacked advances; it opens in one to three days at 8% to 36% APR equivalent. Banks approve $100,000 unsecured lines for businesses with two or more years of history, $1 million or more in annual revenue, 680+ credit and cash flow that covers the payment, at Prime plus 1 to 4 (8% to 11% today), in two to six weeks. A secured line against $125,000 or more of receivables or inventory reaches $100,000 for weaker files at 8% to 20%. In the Fed’s 2026 survey, 45% of line applicants were approved for the full limit and 31% for a smaller one, so a right-sized request matters.

How to Get Approved for the Full $100,000

  • Show the deposits. Three to six months averaging $50,000+ in the business account; lumpy months are averaged, so apply after a strong stretch.
  • Clear existing daily-payment advances. Two open positions almost always cut a $100K request to $30K – $50K. See reverse consolidation.
  • Offer receivables or inventory if credit is under 650; the secured route reaches $100K on files the unsecured route cuts in half.
  • Ask for $100K, not $200K. Partial approvals are sizing decisions; a full approval at $100K is raised later.
  • Bring the financials (returns, P&L, balance sheet, A/R aging) even to online lenders; above $75,000 most ask.
