No Doc Business Loans and EIN-Only Loans: What Is Real, What It Costs and How to Qualify

“No doc business loan” and “business loan with EIN only” are two of the most searched funding phrases, and both are partly true and partly marketing. No lender funds with no documents; what exists is low-doc, bank-statement underwriting that skips tax returns, financial statements and business plans. And almost no lender under $5 million funds on an EIN alone with no personal credit check or guarantee. This guide explains what is actually available in October 2026, what it costs, and how to get the most money with the least paperwork.

Do No Doc Business Loans Exist?

In the low-doc sense, yes: revenue-based financing, merchant cash advances, online lines of credit and some online term loans are underwritten on a one-page application and three months of business bank statements (or a read-only bank connection), with no tax returns, P&L or business plan. Amounts run $10,000 to $500,000, sized at one to one and a half times monthly deposits, funded in 24 to 48 hours, with factor rates of 1.15 to 1.45 or 10% to 36% APR. In the “EIN only, no personal credit” sense, no: lenders pull the owner’s personal credit (often a soft pull) and require a personal guarantee; the EIN is used to build the business’s own credit profile over time, not to replace the owner’s. Businesses that want to borrow on the entity alone generally need two or more years, strong business credit and $1 million-plus in revenue for a bank or SBA facility.

EIN-Only Business Loans: The Honest Answer

An EIN identifies the business for tax purposes; it does not carry a credit history on its own. Lenders that advertise “EIN only” loans still pull the owner’s personal credit in nearly every case, and the ones that truly do not are net-30 vendor accounts, business credit cards secured by a deposit, or equipment leases on small amounts. Borrowing on the entity alone, with no personal guarantee, is realistic only for established companies with two or more years of history, business credit profiles at Dun & Bradstreet and Experian Business, and revenue in the millions, usually at a bank. If a company offers a $100,000 loan on your EIN with no credit check and no guarantee, it is either an advance fee scam or a product priced far above the market.

  • What you can do with an EIN: open net-30 accounts that report to business bureaus, get a secured business card, and build a Paydex score over six to twelve months.
  • What that earns you: better pricing and larger limits later, and eventually lender willingness to reduce or waive the guarantee.
  • What it does not do: replace the personal credit check or guarantee on a $25,000 to $500,000 loan today.

Building the profile is covered in how to build and improve business credit.

How to Qualify With the Least Paperwork

  1. Six months in business and a business bank account in the entity’s name.
  2. $10,000 or more in monthly deposits, ideally $15,000+; steady beats lumpy.
  3. Download three full months of statements as PDFs or connect the bank read-only; this is the entire file for most products.
  4. Keep NSFs under three to five in 90 days and avoid personal spending through the business account.
  5. Apply once through RAN Funding with a soft pull; we show the low-doc offers side by side with any full-doc offers your file also qualifies for, which are usually cheaper.

Common Questions

Can I get a business loan with just an EIN?

Not a conventional one. Lenders pull the owner’s personal credit and require a personal guarantee on nearly every loan under $5 million. An EIN lets you build business credit through net-30 accounts and secured cards, which earns better terms over time, but it does not replace the owner’s credit on a loan today.

Are no doc business loans legitimate?

Low-doc products (revenue-based financing, merchant cash advances, online lines) are legitimate and widely used; they skip tax returns and financials, not all documents. A lender offering money with no application, no bank statements and no credit check, or one asking for a fee before funding, is not legitimate.

What documents do I need for a no doc business loan?

A one-page application, the last three months of business bank statements (or a read-only bank connection), a voided business check and a driver’s license. Card processing statements are added for split-funded merchant cash advances.

How much can I get with a no doc business loan?

Usually one to one and a half times average monthly deposits, from $10,000 to about $500,000. Amounts above $150,000 generally bring a request for tax returns even from online lenders.

What credit score do I need for a no doc loan?

About 500 for revenue-based financing and merchant cash advances, 600 or higher for online lines and term loans. Deposits matter more than the score on these products.
