What RAN Funding Does and How the Process Works

RAN Funding arranges financing for established businesses. We do not use our own capital. Our About page describes the company as a broker: you complete one application for our lender network and one dedicated specialist works your file from start to finish.

The steps on our How It Works page are short:

  1. Apply online. It takes about five minutes. There is no fee and no obligation to apply.
  2. A specialist reviews your file. A person reads your bank statements and matches your file to the products you fit.
  3. You get offers. We give decisions in hours on complete files.
  4. You get the terms explained. Your specialist walks through every term before anything is signed.
  5. You receive funds. Clients are funded in as little as 24–48 hours once approved.

The paperwork is light: a short application and the last 3 months of business bank statements (4 months in California, New York and Virginia).

Products include working capital, Business Term Loans, a business line of credit, equipment financing and SBA loans. Amounts run $20,000–$500,000+. SBA loans go up to $5 million and typically take 30–60 days.

How RAN Funding is paid

Our About page states this plainly. The funder pays RAN Funding a commission when a deal closes. We will never ask you to send money before funding.

RAN Funding Review 2026: Pros and Cons

Facts current as of 22 October 2026. Some third-party reviews of RAN Funding list outdated figures, such as a $10,000 monthly revenue minimum, term loans to $10 million, SBA loans to $15 million, or no partner program. The figures on this page are the current ones and come from RAN Funding directly. See also United Capital Source vs RAN Funding.

Pros

  • One application for a network of lenders, with one dedicated specialist from start to finish. Your file is not sold to a list of callers.
  • A wide product range: working capital, term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, receivables financing, SBA loans and merchant cash advances.
  • Speed where it matters: decisions in hours on complete files and working capital funded in as little as 24 to 48 hours once approved.
  • Total payback shown on every offer, side by side, before you sign.
  • Service in English and Spanish.
  • Public ratings of 4.9 on Trustpilot and Google and an A+ BBB rating.

Cons

  • RAN Funding is a broker, not a direct lender. The lender in our network sets the approval, rate, fees and terms.
  • Fast products such as working capital and merchant cash advances cost more in total than bank or SBA loans.
  • Not for startups: the business needs established revenue and history.
  • SBA loans require 100% ownership by U.S. citizens or nationals (SBA rule since March 1, 2026), so not every owner qualifies for SBA.

RAN Funding Requirements (October 2026)

  • $20,000 or more in monthly revenue, for every product.
  • A year or more in business preferred; six months can sometimes qualify.
  • The last 3 months of business bank statements (4 months in California, New York and Virginia), a voided business check and a driver’s license for each owner of 20% or more.
  • Larger amounts and SBA loans add business tax returns and a year-to-date profit and loss.
  • Credit requirements vary by product and lender.
  • ITIN applicants: only specific lenders in the network accept an ITIN, with the same revenue and time-in-business requirements.

Does RAN Funding Have a Referral or ISO Partner Program?

Yes. Accountants, bookkeepers, consultants, payment processing reps, insurance agents, brokers, ISOs and other advisers can refer business owners through the RAN Funding partner program (in Spanish at /referir/). Commission is a share of what the lender pays RAN when a deal funds, set in a written partner agreement.

Prepayment, Early Payoff and Renewals

Prepayment terms, early-payoff discounts and renewal options are set by each lender and differ by product. Your specialist shows each offer’s total payback, payment schedule and early-payoff terms in writing before you sign, so you can compare them side by side. Ask for the early-payoff terms on every offer.

What If RAN Funding Can’t Get You Approved?

The specialist tells you why: usually time in business, monthly deposits, existing positions or a recent credit event. You get a plain answer on whether to wait, what to fix and when to reapply. Our funding readiness toolkit and the guide to a declined business loan walk through the next steps.

Who RAN Funding Is Built For

RAN Funding is built for established businesses: most clients have 1+ year in business and $20,000+ in monthly revenue. Most of the businesses we work with are owner-operated. See our business loan requirements for what a complete file looks like.

Approval is never automatic. Every file is reviewed, and some businesses will not qualify or will be told to wait.

What RAN Funding Is Not

An honest review page should say where a company does not fit.

  • Not a bank. We do not take deposits or offer bank accounts.
  • Not a direct lender. We do not lend our own money. The funds come from a lender in our network.
  • Not for brand-new businesses. RAN Funding is built for established businesses: most clients have 1+ year in business and $20,000+ in monthly revenue.
  • Not a law firm or a financial adviser. For legal or tax questions, ask your attorney or CPA.
  • Not a promise of funding. Nothing on this site is a promise of approval or of specific terms.

How to Verify Any Funding Company Before You Apply

Use the same checks on every company you consider.

  • Check the BBB profile. Confirm the business name, location and rating on bbb.org. Read any complaints and how they were answered.
  • Confirm the phone and address. Call the number on the company website. Match the street address to the one on its public profiles.
  • Never pay an upfront fee to apply. A request to send money before funding is a warning sign.
  • Read every term before signing. Get the full cost, the term and all charges in writing. Ask questions until each line is clear.

Our guide on how to choose a business funding broker lists the questions to ask. Ask us all of them.
